Opportunity to Volunteer

MREF board is inviting all those who are interested in helping with next year’s Foundation activities to join our upcoming meetings.  MREF board will be using the last two meetings of this school year to frame the activities for upcoming year.

The purpose of the Foundation is to provide financial support to enhance the curriculum at Monterey Ridge Elementary School.  The Foundation will strive to provide financial support and enhance the curriculum at our school primarily in the areas of Technology, the Arts, and Sciences.

To make the activities possible for next year, we need strong individuals motivated to invest their energy for improving our children’s learning environment.  Some of the potential MREF activities for next year include:  E-Scrip, Grants, Casino Night, Wine Tasting, Silent Auction, Recycling, Corporate matching funds, Cars for Charity, and sponsorships.

The funds raised will be used for school programs in line with our mission.  Examples include Software, World Book, Monterey Ridge TV(MTV)- TV for and by students, Drama / Performing Arts program, Science equipment and experiment items.
